For this year as their after school activity the girls picked out dance. And as the culmination of their year in dance, they had their first recital. I will preface this by saying that the actual recital was wonderful! The costumes were great - all very age appropriate and sparkly - and the routines were well choreographed. However, the dress rehearsal was a debacle! I blame several factors with the highest among them being the person in charge is an artsy fartsy with zero left brain activity.

Here they are on the actual day of the recital (all the others were taken during the dress rehearsal as photography was strictly prohibited during the recital!)
The recital was very well done. Both girls were really focusing on doing their best. It was fun for Gary and me to attend the recital.
